Grave and Headstone Restoration Project
Greetings:
The Mount Olive Cemetery Historical Preservation Society is asking for your help in supporting the Society’s project of restoring the sunken unmark graves of Civil War veterans and others buried in the cemetery.
Our project is to fill in all sunken graves, restore present headstones, and place headstones at all gravesites with unknown headstone markers.
We ask you to participate in remembrance of those who are buried in Mount Olive Cemetery by making a contribution toward the purchase of these headstones for the beauty and maintenance of this historical site. On the headstones will be inscribed “Unknown” and the name of the person or organization making the donation of $50.00 or more for each headstone.
